Not the most attractive subject, the village looks interesting, but you've pulled it off with the whole scene and the choice of colours Rob.

Thanks Derek. No, when I took the commission I was expecting an attractive distillery (as many of them are) with some exciting shapes, and was a bit dismayed to see this - mostly just grey sheds! I hope the colours have helped to liven it up and give it some warmth.

'Glangassaugh Distillery', watercolour, 38 x 26 cm. Painted as a commission, this proved to be the only realistic vantage point to paint the whole distillery from. I've made it summer instead of the very cold winter it was painted in!
