Thank you Michael - sorry it's taken a while to respond, I guess I missed this! Yes, this was quite a daunting subject at first sight, but I knew I couldn't paint it in a watercolour style if I included all the detail. Thank goodness for drybrush! I loved doing the sky though - a great glow from Q-gold, permanent crimson alizarin and ultramarine. Looking back, I think I have a bit of a 'thing' about bridges - I seem to paint them an awful lot!
