Your watercolor skies are so wonderful! They are a tough challenge for many, and I get the impression you paint them quickly and effortlessly, which is what makes them always such a success....because you are really concentrating on the planes, and details below. Kudos for your draftsmanship!

Thank you Nancy! Yes, most of my skies are painted pretty quickly and usually as part of the background. I usually paint skies very wet indeed, so either the whole sky or, as in this case stages of it, get painted rapidly, as I can only work as long as I can keep the whole lot consistently wet. I spend a lot more time thinking about what I'm going to do next than actually painting!
