Tapping the Furnace

Just brilliant, great stunning colours, you can feel the heat.

I keep coming back to look at this. I love the colours ,contrast and drama. There's something a bit Paul Nash about it. I also like the other industrial scene 'Fire and steel.

Just realised I had never noticed this one Robert, love your rendering of the tremendous heat created in these old furnaces, and how amazingly close to them the workers got, great atmospheric painting, super sense of the scale of the thing as well by including the two workers
