Butterfly by Hilary Robinson

Love all the objects and vibrant colours Hilary, although puzzled as to why the butterfly is monochromatic.

Hilary what a beautiful representation of Dawn’s photo of the daily challenge. You’ve done a wonderful job especially of the butterfly, really stands out amongst the colours of the fruit.

Thanks so much for the positive comments, it is very encouraging. I picked this photo because it was almost abstract in it's composition and I wanted to try to capture that, although it didn't end up as abstract as I was planning!! I stuck with a monochrome butterfly/moth because I found it striking in the photo that, contrary to expectation, the colour was all in the surroundings, not in the butterfly.
