I couldn't agree more, Rachel, with the other comments. The loose style is great, the colours work very well, and it LOOKS deliberate, giving the lines a natural flow. Lovely painting, and straight from the hip. Brian

The loose and "get straight on with it style" has worked well. Kingfishers make lovely paintings.

Straight in with acrylic no sketching, hence his beak looks a little odd.. maybe I should have stuck a fish in it :)
