You've really captured the flavour of the place with this one Richard. Regarding your comments about the lake, it's a difficult one - perhaps the stippling could be in streaks as in your foreground and nothing elsewhere except by the shore to reflect the trees? You'll only find out by experiment.

The first of 2 "stipple" type drawings I am doing of this Lake District location. Taken from a photograph of mine. The hardest part of this was the "lake" and the reflections ! Kept looking at and couldn't decide. Too much or too little "stipple" ?
