Thoughts Of Langdale

Simple but so effective Richard these simple sketch are not an easy thing to do , ruined by a simple wrong stroke of the pen . You seem to have mastered the skill of making them look so good and easy todo however they are a long way from been easy .

Not an easy subject, Richard, so many “knobbles” on the Langdale Pikes, but you can recognize all the routes from this drawing. You don’t need a foreground. A good drawing, so easily recognisable for what it is.
