Great outcome Richard. Watercolour is so unpredictable and takes a bit of getting used to. Saying that, this picture looks lovely.

Like the blend of colours, Richard, and the peacock has a nice design element to it. (One of the appealing things about watercolour is its unpredictability.)

Thanks everybody and yes watercolour is unpredictable. The hard part is knowing how wet the paper/pad should be. Just let it flow !!!

My first quick contribution for a while due to the "throes" of moving house. Pen Pixabay Free image of a peacock with watercolour just "dropped" in and left to mix. Not too happy with the outcome but will give this style another go with more attention to the colours and control.
