Applying the highlight glazing to the second leg segment. I complete each segment in 3 overlapping layers before moving on the the next segment the next day. Each segment takes between 2 and 4 hours, then I need a break. I always painting stending as I can move around more easily. My main easel is wall mounted to permit a large range of vertical and lateral movement to that I am always painting at a comfortable eye level. Thisd is my small 'detail' knife.
