Plein air study at the beach

Wonderful work, you make it look so easy but I bet it isn't.

I'm always trying to learn from your work, Richard. Is the paper or board for this the burnt sienna-like colour?

Roger, the paper is is the colour of the patch on the middle right in the sea a sepia type brown. The reds an ochres in the forground are all pastel. The paper I use outdoors is Senellier La Carte pastel card which is lovely to work on.
