Thank you for all for those encouraging comments, it means a lot especially coming from accomplished artists as yourselves. I did enjoy painting this one more than usual, I sometime find it hard work at 76 as my eyesight isn't what it used to be and I tire more quickly. Good painting to you all, kindest regards Bob

The mixed media painting is titled, “View from a Slate Miners Bothie” (short title “Enamel Mug”), that depicts an artistic view of a mount Snowdon landscape, seen through a window of an abandoned slate miners bothie cottage near Dinorwic slate quarry in North Wales. The logs are are nod to nearby forests around Llanberis, in Eryri national park.
