Such a soft and quiet exposure of the way these people transverse the water-ways , the Suijin deity, the pinkish fluidity does show this amazing culture in their graceful entirety. The Japanese ladies on the bridge and monks sitting watching the oars-man as he guides his wooden punt-boat. Those hump-like rocks in the background look profound jutting up towards the orange sky! Amazing detail and colourful palette Robert here in this painting, excellent work!
