Morris Madness
Night Morris dancing in the Market Place of Somerton, Somerset, based on fond old memories of Somerton. The Morris dancers are from a memory of picketing union members (in costume and performing) outside the gates of Westland Helicopters in Yeovil at a time when the government of Margaret Thatcher had outlawed it. It was a typical gentle west country action that kind of amused me and has stuck in my memory for many years.
