These dramatic changes in atmosphere certainly are causing Climate change and rather sad to witness emaciated animals suffering from drought , and the vultures flock to peck the remains of what was once a thriving livestock! The Beehive domes may shelter and feed the few left to forage, and Artesian wells might tap a reservoir beneath the earth! Or is this phase just the beginning of another Ice Age? Is it that our Sun is dimming into a Black Dwarf? A well defined and representational painting of living in the Anthropocene Age Robert!

Mankind's endless thirst for fossil fuels has caused atmospheric CO2 levels to rise from 280 ppm (pre-industrial revolution) to over 1000 ppm, the dry and drought ridden Amazon rain forests have been destroyed by huge wild-fires, vast reservoirs of frozen, buried methane hydrates have been set free from the Arctic drastically increasing the atmospheric greenhouse gas concentrations and radiation blocking effects, average global temperatures have risen by well over 10°C, a sea level rise of over 6 meters has waterlogged and submerged many of our major cities, people have migrated away from the scorching tropics and central latitudes, escaping starvation from crop failures and conflict over access to water, to the more temperate and calmer higher latitudes. A few have survived, remained and now live in isolated biospheres in a new and changed world.
