Lovely painting and so vibrant too, the raw edges are clear and where the sky meets the distant hills it brings out the vibrancy of of the green vegetation and chaff ,uniform golden corn very nice indeed Robert.

Acrylic on canvas, size 18 by 24 inches. At the end of the day a weary miller sets off for home in a nearby town, carrying a heavy bag of flour on his back, after a long work day toiling by the stream in a rural watermill. Inspired by a work entitled 'Skirt of Mt Fuji' (a very rare 1953 limited edition woodblock print, by Kawase Hasui (1883 - 1957).
