Reworked or not this is lovely. THe distance is perfect; just hinted at and you've caught perfectly the autumn colours in the grass as well as the trees.

I know the feeling patience to scrape it off. Easier to wipe off after a couple of days! Excellent painting once again. Love the sky and the hint of pink/orange in the sky reflected in your foreground.

The greens add a lively touch to the weighted browns and receeding blues. Lovely melded tones.

Very subtle and acomplished. It remind me of the work by Joseph Zubudvic - probably spelt incorrectly - He is based in Australia I believe and does the most wonderful atmospheric watercolours. Sensitive and not overdone. Great

Here is another re-worked painting....initially the colours were all wrong for the time of day, so the whole painting was scraped, re-painted and having revisited the area with the faithful digital camera, the final effecty was achieved. Incidentally,it stood at the back of the studio for a couple of weeks before I actually got back to it!
