Tambo river to the Lakes

Fantastic view, love it.

Think this view works particularly well. Like the use of limited palette.

This could almost be an 18th century painting of a country estate, except that if it was, a palatial house would feature - I don't mean it's in any sense archaic, he said hastily, but that it has space and the grand vista. Almost a subued painting for you: reminds me of a lady who was wandering round a gallery years ago, and saw a dark and lowering landcape: "Ee," she said; "he were unlucky with the weather!"
