Thanks so much Thalia, it was not plein air, although I would have loved to do that one day. It is from a friend's photo on their travels , and the photo was very intricate and busy , I have tried to simplify it as much as I could !! On reflection , I should have added more details on the three foreground boats , lesson learned .
