Satisfyingly accurate but also quirky, which is lovely.

Sad to hear it's been torn down - there's little worse than official vandalism, and I'd be willing to bet the apartment block which has replaced it is of no architectural value whatsoever. At least it still lives in your fine work.

I accidentally discovered that this house on Walkeshwar Road in Mumbai was also painted by Lucy Willis, the well known artist and teacher. Sadly it no longer exists,having been torn down to make way for an apartment block.
