Lovely painting Sarah wonderful quality I can smell the fragrance

Thank you Dennis for your wonderful words :)

Pure summer! Corn fields and poppies, soft and delicate.

Thank you Fiona! I see that you are doing very well with oils, I'm having a rest from them and enjoying watercolours again. Love seeing your excellent progress :)

Thanks Sarah, I've only got one session of still life of this first term left before the next subject, which is life and portrait painting. I'm not really inspired in that direction, plus I've recently had an operation which will keep me from heavy lifting and standing for too long for quite a few weeks. The room where the classes are held are at the top of a victorian house and my painting kit weighs a ton. It's the spring term I'm really looking forward to as it's landscape painting and it's out doors! I love how you ring the changes in your work Sarah, it's very refreshing!

Put it down to the attention span of a gnat Fiona! LOL! Roll on spring :)

Lovely painting Sarah. Can't wait for the Summer months myself.

We are nearly there now Dorothy! Today I saw the sun! That was after the eclipse too:) all the flowers are looking good too. :)

This is on Langton cold pressed watercolour paper. 140lbs, 7"x5". As I upload this painting I am looking out at a beautifully snowy garden. I like snow, it covers the weeds up nicely but I do like Summertime so much better. Brrrrr!
