What a lovely feeling of a breezy day on the beach! I love all the interesting things going on and also your treatment of the subject. Super stuff.

I often end up painting from the car myself, especially this year with all the rain! A lovely painting Sarah.

I agree a lovely painting

Very atmospheric, Sarah - I can feel that sea breeze! I don't know how you manage to paint in the car - everything gets in the way when I try and I just end up really frustated, so hats off to you for doing it with such a great result!

Thank you Thea, Paul, Glennis, Rebecca and Jane for all your very nice feedback. It all is very much appreciated :)

Ditto all the comments above. I particularly like your sunbeams and going back to my roots paintings.

Brilliant Sarah, full of interest and atmosphere.

I like this one Sarah -- Well painted and full of action

Pat, Fiona and Charles , thankyou for the feedback, at least I know that I'm going in the right direction. Usually I would not have painted such a busy scene but now , I think that I shall paint many more busy scenes. Thanks once again :)

A charming piece, Sarah - there's so much spontaneity in this lovely scene.

Thank you Seok, not half as good as yours tho' :)

This is so appealing. I love the colours and the air of chaotic busyness you have created. It somehow makes you feel that all is well with the world. I don't know how you did that, but I look forward to seeing more.

Thank you Christine, I hope that you recognised Weybourne beach from it :)

Brilliant - I know this scene so well and have often been here over the years. Hasn't changed and your painting brings out the best.

Jamie. I'm glad that you recognise it so well. You do not know how close I came to leaving out the tractor and other stuff to make it look more appealing. Instead they helped to make it interesting :)

I sat sketching with my friend today on Weybourne beach. It was a bit windy and as we are both "lily livered" we ended up painting in the car. This is the scene from the car park. Watercolour and pen on Bockingford paper, 140 lb.SOLD.
