This is very attractive Sarah I an not surprised these have been selling, lovely colours, particularly lemon and pale purple colours always look good together, all your colours and shapes work well together here

Yes I like it - great composition although perhaps (hope you don't mind me saying this) just a tad of the purple above the path to pull it together and for continuity.

Ros and Michael thank you for the lovely comments :) Michael I have added some soft purple to the top in some of the dark areas. I see what you mean! When I uploaded this, it looked like two different paintings. One on the top and one on the bottom. Roll on the exhibition :)

Pen and watercolour. I seem to have started a little series on the same theme! My first one sold but it was also entered into an exhibition in a couple of weeks time and so I have been frantically painting a replacement although not quite the same as the original. Serves me right for giving it such an unusual name :)
