Love this, Sarah! I have no idea why, but this reminds me of the setting for an old Dutch painting. The textures are lovely.

I love the very calm, subdued and subtle use of colour which makes one keep looking into the painting to find more detail.

I am really enjoying browsing your gallery. I love this one, it is so interesting to look at and the colours are beautiful. I am also a big fan of your 'Up, Up and Away' painting. Lovely artwork Sarah.
