Nice pics Sarah ' I too enjoy using pastel - like the mix of colours

Thank you for your lovely comments.

So glad you liked my breakfasts LOL. Thanks for the comments. I like your gallery, you have a very distinctive style and great colour sense.

Hello Sarah, thank you very much for visiting my gallery and for your comments. I'm glad you "dropped by", as things are moving so fast on this site these days that I tend to miss a good number of works. I'm really glad to have discovered your gallery! It's got some very nice pieces, this one being my favorite. I love the way you've rendered the trees here, the growth on their trunks, their branches and leaves. It reminds me of David Bellamy's trees. but with your own color palette and distinctive style. It's lovely. It's going to be an enjoyable trip through the rest of your gallery!

thanks again for encouraging comments. Trees like these, covered in ivy etc... are a feature of the Norfolk countryside. They are great fun to paint.

A pastel done on a ' Tony Garner' day. I learnt a new tecnique, which was using shavings of pastels for the leaves and rolling them into the paper with greaseproof paper and a pencil.
