I didn't expect so many nice comments! Thank you all for your kind words. How do other pastellists keep their paintings pristine? I've sprayed mine with fixative and keep them under grease proof or brown paper. Any other thoughts on the subject?

Pastel on very tough tooth pastel card of which I've forgotten the name of the makers. Approximately A3 in size. I've recently dug out all of my chalk pastels and have started dabbling again with them.
