This one immediately caught my eye, the differant shading of the green on the bank, & the tracery of the leaves in the trees nothing short of brilliant. Well Done.

Lovely delicate watercolour. Love the recession - those lightly painted trees in the distance. Waterfall very well painted.

Hi Rachel. Just caught your watercolours on this site. Love the fresh fluid approach you have.This scene looks like a lovely spot. Haven't been to Yorkshire yet as I have lived in Australia since 1988, having emigrated from Surrey. You can't beat the English countryside. I also paint watercolour. A watercolour original on Whatman 200lb rough paper. I particularly like this paper as it is very white and also stays damp for a long time BUT it seems it is out of production!! I have bought as much as I can find but I am going to have to find another paper sometime! www.artbyrachel.co.uk
