Well done,Val! I think your foreground is pretty good. I, too, find foregrounds difficult - especially when they are so empty as they are up here in the bleak north-west!

Great colors and like the format and your mountains are great. The image really popped off the screen. I wouldn't really have noticed anything wrong with the foreground if you hadn't mentioned it and I don't think there is. But maybe just the rock and maybe one patch of water or dark area would have made it less busy and more bleak and empty.

I'm another who has difficulty with foregrounds Val but I can't fault yours. The snow covered mountain is super by the way.

And, that sky is perfect!

Lovely landscape, the mountains are great

Thank you Ann, Kevin, Fiona, Jenny, Louise and Petra for taking the time to leave such lovely comments.

Stunning work, Val!

Nothing wrong with the foreground Val, it's a lovely, handsome painting of a equally handsome mountain. Well done!

Thank you Seok and Satu.
