I wish I could achieve this with pastel, Val. It's full of movement ,a very strong painting, and the colour makes me catch my breath!

Soft pastel on colourfix 33/23cm. Spent a lovely day in St.Andrews last month photographing the sea on a glorious sunny day. Painting was slightly too long for the scanner so it's cropped a little short.
