"Thai sisters"

An eye catching duo

Thank you once more Heather. I like this one very much too, therefore I didn't bin it. It's commissioned portrait, that recipient refused to collect. I spent weeks on it... If I'm correct, it's broken me in half, and I stopped practicing in oils back then... When I did shake off depression, I started practicing in pastel pencils instead...

Incredibly skilful Arthur. So expressive and beautifully painted. Whoever let you down made a very big mistake, as they missed out on a great painting.

Thank you Carole very much ;) The case was - he didn't mention who of these two is the MAIN subject! I did paint it following the reference then. Once the painting was finished, I sent a photo of it to that guy, and he did share it to one of the sisters, for whom this painting was meant to be done... Guess what... It was the girl behind! I'm not surprised she didn't like to be the SECOND one... So she was upset and didn't want to have it! The recipient got confused then, whether to collect it or not... I didn't request the money then. The money is not this much important to me, but happiness of the person for whom the painting is. So I said - if she's not happy, you don't have to pay. And that was it. Yes, I have asked him why he never did mention that it is the sister behind? He said he didn't know it might be this much important... Lol... I said - if you'd tell me, I would suggest you to make this painting different, to please the other sister, but in this case she was right! I wouldn't like to be at somebody's back either! But I did put so much of effort to paint it, and time... That's the full story Carole ;) Thank you very much...
