I've done a few of these Hastings boats myself so can appreciate your interpretation. Lovely, vibrant and particularly like all the soaring seagulls. I can almost smell the sea!

Super painting Paula - I love the composition and the texture if the beach. The flocking seagulls really add to the atmosphere - I can almost hear their shrieking cries!

Beautifully balanced. Painstaking work to get all that middle and foreground detail, but it doesnt feel in the slightest bit laboured

Seagulls soar above the colourful fishing boat, waiting for the tasty fresh scraps to be thrown their way. The Stade at Hastings beach in East Sussex has the largest beach fleet in the country, it's one of my favourite places as it is so full of colour , character and history.
