Honeymoon Hotel a very long time ago

You didn’t say where the hotel is. It looks a bit like a hotel I once stayed at near Dartmouth. Was it a good honeymoon? So much not said - intriguing ..... Lovely painting though

The Holbeck Ghyll hotel overlooks lake Windermere near Ambleside. It’s a beautiful example of Art Nouveau design and full of happy memories. Visited in1978 at the extortionate price of £59 per week. It was a truly wonderful honeymoon. Revisited in 1980 and for our 25th anniversary in 2003. Sadly forgotten by my husband who now has dementia. My memories are magical.
