Good use of colour John

Just love the spring as the buds open on trees etc, like the colours you have used in the excellent piece John . Some times I think the buds opening are just a pretty as the blossom on some trees but in a different way if that makes sense.

A4 sketch with Derwent Soft colour pencils. The White Beam tree outside my window is gorgeous every spring. The colour is an overall lime green and simmers like silver in the breeze. Its such a treat watching the buds unfold.
