Pendine Sands Pembrokeshire

The colours of the sky/sea/sand are lovely and I like the addition of the 2 figures and seagull

Wonderful cliff textures John, agree with Heather on the rest :)

Nice contrasts of the soft foreground reflections and the solid textured cliffs- the figures give the scale nicely.

Magnificent cliffs John, love the sky and sea colour.

Thank you Heather, Carole, Willie, and Fiona. Your comments are very much appreciated.

Stunning John, the textures on the cliff face against the waves and the reflections, brilliant!

Love the depiction of the reflective waters

Wonderful textures and colours.

Oil on canvas board. 12x10 inches. Visited the museum of speed at Pendine Sands. In the 1920’s-30 they raced and made world records along the sands. The museum is smallish but very interesting. Closed now they are making it bigger. It was a misty morning on the beach and it all seemed so vast. Those cliffs are so very big and the figures give an idea of how huge the area is. I felt just a couple of figures set it off best, along with the seagull of course.
