Superb picture, John, terrific action well depicted in movement and texture. Love it.

Wonderful action John, you have captured them very well. Are they fighting over a lady? :))

A great painting and not an easy one too, John but you have mastered it so skilfully. Superb!

I thought watercolour pencils was a challange but a palette knife, nah. Leave that to the pro's..

Thank you Willie and Carole. Yes that right Carole over lady.

Thank you Satu, Peter, and Dennis. You comments are very much appreciated.

Excellent idea John, I've paused the tv and taken a photo of the still to paint it. A long way round to do something but when an image is worth the bother, it pays off, like this one.

Love the textures in this very lively painting John. You have captured the argument between the two beautifully. Got to be over a lady lol.

Beautiful painting John, I love how you get all that detail using a knife, superb.

Amazingly lively and full of movement. Super piece. Thank you too for all your very kind comments on my paintings.

Full of texture and movement John.

Just catching up on things I have missed due to eye ops.. A lovely painting here John, and a great Gallery to enjoy. Merry Christmas to you! xx

Palette Knife Oil Painting. 24X18 inches. I use a camcorder a lot these days to get the action I like to paint. After selecting a still I then form the composition. I usually get the action in place then form the rest of the supporting scene around my subject.
