Lovely fresh picture.

I read that Trevor Chamberlain uses Olive Green and Venetian Red. For me these colours offer a wide tonal range (values) by simply adjusting the water content and when mixed give a variety of earthy browns. These colours provide a simple harmonious way of obtaining a sense of light in a painting. 'Fresh' puts it more succinctly. Thank you for your comment.
