Very good painting Philip, I like the hint of mysrey you have created. The tunnel like composition works well too.

I agree, you can see the point where the shade ends and you reach the house sitting in gardens filled with splendid sunshine. Lovely colours and dappled shading.

Love the use of darker foreground tones to halo the brighter distance lights...lovely painting.

I agree, my eye is really drawn back into the depths of the painting.

Love the looseness and that red-orange makes it zing.
