Brilliant - now, this could be described as a photographic study, even down to the individual bristles in the whiskers and pores in the skin, and many of us have said we don't like photographic studies: but of course this transcends that definition (and it isn't strictly speaking photographic anyway: just highly detailed). Just goes to show how daft it is to make rules about what you're going to like or not going to like.
