My daughter used to live near Mossley and we have some nice memories of around there but when that rain comes down , it comes down fast! I miss the place! Lovely atmospheric painting Philip!

Lovely Philip. I'd like to use this as an example to students that although run backs are usually to be avoided, this isn't always the case, as illustrated in your excellent piece where the energy of the scene, and of your painting style, is demonstrated perfectly.
