Nice to see another local view Philip, did'nt realise you could see both the church and pots and pans in one view, Mkes a nice composition.

Thanks Stephen. It is a little cheat. This is a painting for a friend, you can only just see the tip of the memorial from this viewpoint - we agreed that I would exaggerate it a little! I could have moved over to the left and higher but then would have lost the path with all the interesting bits of broken wall and fence etc.

This is a beautiful peice with limited colour. Which size of papaer do you use normally?

Another lovely vista type landscape Philip, the eye is certainly drawn into the scene and on over the fields, again lovely colours and lovely stonework, even your old broken down fencing is really well rendered as are the hedgerows with occasional delicately picked out tree details and touches of distant building details
