Great composition and dramatic light - I like it

Great light and shadow and love the intense expressions on the players faces.I also the one guy is peeking at someone else's cards. There is definitely a story here.

thank you for your compliments Thea,Card games are tense with lots of atmosphere. When I was a boy in the 1950s once a month my father had his friends over to play cards and the atmosphere was electric, they would give me tips and I would have to make sandwiches from the meat we had left over from sunday dinner.After they left and gone to their own homes I'd go up to my bedroom and count my tips,sometimes I would have ten bob sometimes alot more. So ideas come to mind from those times and I would paint them.
