Thanks very much for your comments. These people were at the ferry one morning before it started sailing for the day. Their dress and the dark water background appealed and I took a few photos. This is one of three paintings in watercolour or acrylic, the figures are rearranged in each case in order to make a good composition. The one in the acrylic gallery sold at a local art show last year.
