Peter, I went to Ireland some years ago in February and I saw people snorkelling in the sea! One man was walking out of the water looking blue. This painting brings back memories of my travels there. Very pleasant place even on a cold rainy day. I also had the best stew in Ireland!

Letter in Connemara Co. Galway is a very small fishing community in the west of Ireland.I have tried to capture the atmosphere of the mist and drizziling rain which was present during most of our stay there a couple of years ago.
