Bude Castle - Plein Air sketch
Watercolour on Bockingford 200lb NOT paper.1/2 imperial. I've spent a very pleasant couple of hours in Bude today painting plein air. The original plan was to paint the breakwater, but I could hardly stand up for the breeze. As I didn't fancy rescuing my easel from the sea I decided on this view. It was a little more sheltered, but the wind still managed to claim my brolly (sunshade). Not my best work, but good fun.
