This is good Peter, I see what you mean about the paper, but it still looks good.

Shame about the paper Peter but it a great sketch to do an oil or watercolour from.

The hills / cliffs work well and the colours look very realistic. I use the reverse side of canson paper as I find the 'real' side too rough.

That sounds like a good tip Stephen. Thanks. My thanks also to Adele and Fiona. I've more stories to tell of my adventures today in my next blog.

Crackington Haven. Yet another outing today. This Plein Air sketch is Crackington Haven. Pastel on Canson Mi-Teintes paper 32cm x 24cm. I must admit I struggled with this paper to try and get it to take more than 1 layer of pastel. Must use my new Pastelmat paper!
