I like the sepia tones in this Peter; it brings a sense of past into your portrayal of the landscape which I think is lovely - makes you stop and wonder about who lived here and the history of the place.

Like the colour, the warmth, the quality of the drawing, the serenity and calm - the only suggestion I have is that you might think again about the way the baseline of the cottage only just peeks below the top bar of the gate - just a few millimetres more would have worked better, I think. As it is, it reinforces the sense that the foreground is really barred off from the middle and background. It would take very little to correct that and give you an even better painting.
