Late 1980’s wooden hire rowing boats at the Cambridgeshire working water mill at Houghton, near St Ives. I came across this old photo whilst searching for subjects, played about with it on my iPad, to create more contrast, it’s proved a long project. Pencils and equipment :- Derwent Lightfast and Polychromos. No solvent used. Finished off with 3 layers of Lascaux fixative. Size :- 50 cm x 32.5 cm Support :- Strathmore multimedia, 400 series. Reference:- my own photo and composition.
