In my opinion, and I’m not an expert, but I would leave it as it is. The thing is other people might have a different opinion so it’s down to your own instinct in the end. I think you have enough colour in the tattoos and I think this is all about the intensity in that face which I think you have caught very well. The only thing I thought was that you hadn’t finished painting his hand but I wondered if boxers put chalk on their hands before putting on their gloves. I’m not a fan of boxing but I like your painting and the thing that made me notice it was the expression on the face.

I agree it doesn't need any more red as that would distract from the face. the belt looks a bit flat and I would dry two make it fade at the sides and brighten up in the middle to look as though it goes round him. But it looks really promising. Face and hair have looked really well.

none of it is finished . not even started the hand yet. the hair and the belt need a lot of work, can't decide what to do with the background
