A beautiful painting, a very expressive piece

This is amazing work - and it would be amazing in any medium, but when you think how very basic coloured pencils were until a relatively short time ago, hardly a serious artistic medium at all when I were a lad.... it's beyond amazing. I spent long periods of my childhood visiting family at Bristol Zoo (um; my uncle was a keeper, I should hurriedly explain) and the giraffes vied for my attention with Ferdinand the Bison. Extraordinary, gentle animals (most of the time), perfectly captured in this work.

Great Picture Paul. My favourite animal. They are beautiful to see in the wild. So graceful and I think you have captured that in your drawing. Really good.
