This is my first attempt at a larger oil painting. My starting point was a sketch and a couple of photographs taken on holiday. The tide was out and you can walk out to the St Agnes navigational day mark and look back to the island and its light house. I kept the colours warm to give it a feeling of nostalgia which very much captures the peace of these isles. Size 30x80cm.
